Lago Argentino Patagonia
Argentina and California have approximately the same population, but Argentina is over five times larger. Over a third of the population live in Buenos Aires, Over three-fourths live in cities over 100,000. This is all to say that Argentina is a vast land of unspoiled beauty. I’m an expert having been here four days.
Having lived in the US and Europe all my life it is impossible to imagine vistas that have not been touched by humans. Here in Patagonia, looking at the mesas and the mountains of the Andes, it is possible to imagine that some of the rocks have not moved in many millions of years.
Before I start posting images of the Perlan 2 and its progress, I wanted to share a few images of Patagonia and Lago Argentino, where El Calafate is located. Martin
