Full Wingspan on Display
Yesterday at Windward Performance a TV crew came out to prepare a piece on the Perlan Project.
- They shot video of the construction process
- Interviewed Greg and his folks
- Did a phone interview with Dennis
- Interviewed Ed
For the first time the closeout tooling for the two wings and the fuselage molds were pulled out of the shop and set in their relative positions to give an idea of what the final aircraft would look like. It was an emotional experience to “see” something that looks like an airplane emerging from all of our efforts. It was an awesome sight! Here are two pictures.
