Mike Malis

Aviation Engineer and Tow Pilot

Biography

Mike is an active commercial glider and tow pilot with over 2000 hrs and 35 years experience. Mike recently retired form Lockheed Martin as a Staff Engineer, working composites structures research for high altitude vehicles, and hold several patents in this area. Mike is also an active volunteer for several flight schools, clubs, and the CAF, where he enjoys working on warbirds such as the P-51. Mike has created and instructed several classes in composite fabrication for Lockheeed and Antelope Valley College.
